Zajac Nights Gala & Committee

Zajac Nights is an annual charitable gala in support of Zajac Ranch for Children, an organization that provides transformative summer camp experiences for children and young adults with chronic, life-threatening and/or debilitating conditions.

Last year we celebrated our 10th action-packed Zajac Nights!

Our event was a resounding success and heaps of fun for our amazing attendees with outstanding results including $603,618.00 raised to help send children to camp! Born and raised in Kitsilano, Jill has always been passionate about community engagement and dedicating her time to meaningful causes. A graduate of the UBC with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she has also honed her expertise in Social Media and Online Marketing. Currently on maternity leave from her successful career in real estate, Jill brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every project she takes on. Inspired by the impactful work of Zajac Ranch, Jill is excited to support their mission of providing life-changing summer camp experiences for children.

Alison Gillard, a Vancouver native, is a fashion and business professional with an associate's degree in Fashion Design and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LA. After graduating, she moved to New York and worked in corporate marketing at Conde Nast. Now a new member of the Zajac Nights committee, Alison is excited to bring her philanthropic spirit and expertise to support the Zajac Ranch and its meaningful cause.

Jennece Doman

Jennece has been a dedicated philanthropist for many years, supporting organizations such as the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation, Face the World Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. She currently serves on the Vitality Gala Committee for the UBC & VGH Hospital Foundation.Having studied design and marketing at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Jennece’s passion for architecture and design led her to a career in development at Westbank, Canada’s leading mixed-use real estate developer, contributing to projects including Alberni by Kengo Kuma, The Butterfly, and Sen̓áḵw.Jennece is proud to support the Zajac Foundation and its mission to provide life-changing summer camp experiences for children. She looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact in the community through her philanthropic work.

Anais brings over 15 years of professional experience in the finance industry in British Columbia and Alberta, most recently as a Senior Mortgage Consultant for 4Front Mortgages and Partner in Tom + Anais Mortgages. Renowned for her ability to foster strong relationships with both personal and business clients across various sectors, Anais has extended this commitment to community service as a former Board member and longtime supporter of motionball -- an organization that raises funds in support of the Special Olympics. As a lifelong competitive athlete and Vancouverite, Anais is excited to now channel her skills and enthusiasm into the Zajac Nights fundraising event to make a difference for children and their families across the province.

Lisa Leonard

Born and raised in Vancouver, Lisa Leonard brings over 15 years of professional experience from the commercial insurance industry, where she served as a Senior Account Executive. During her corporate tenure, she played a key role on internal committees, spearheading the strategy and execution of large-scale staff galas, charity initiatives, and community outreach events.Her extensive background in event logistics is further supported by her previous service on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, where she contributed to the success of signature events and golf tournaments. Lisa’s long-standing commitment to the community also includes her past work as a volunteer leader with the Girl Guides, where she was dedicated to empowering young women and guiding children.Following a successful career in insurance, Lisa transitioned to motherhood in 2024 and now operates a professional photography business in Vancouver. She is excited to leverage her diverse background in corporate planning and her passion for children’s causes to support the Zajac Nights committee. A resident of Vancouver, Lisa enjoys living a life of passion and play through golf, travel, and spending time with her young family.
